These books are such a guilty pleasure of mine! I don’t think I have read any of them since last year, so I thought I’d pick up where I left off.

How I did it: I went with a group of 400 people with the Ambassadors of Music. It was a 16 day tour that took us to seven different countries. Definitely one of the greatest experiences of my life that I will never ever forget! Read how I did it…
Wow, this is the first book I have completed in over two months. I have started three other books, but have yet to finish them. I definitely got behind on this goal, but I have made another goal that will hopefully help me achieve this goal. I want to read for at least thirty minutes a day for four weeks straight. Hopefully by then it will be a habit.
This was just an incredible book. I can’t remember the last book I read that I could honestly not put down. I actually stayed up late to read it, and I never ever do that. I usually fall asleep before the book is even opened. Absolutely life-changing. Briefly, it’s the story of a young girl living in Germany during WWII and how she grows up through it. It’s narrated by death, which gives it a unique spin on things. It’s just an incredibly powerful/heartbreaking story.
I’m currently reading:
Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert I’ve been working on this one all summer, but it’s divided up into smaller stories, so I think it’s okay that I’m not taking it in all at once.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone I bought a copy of it while in London, so I feel pretty cool saying “Philosopher” instead of “Sorcerer” :) Plus it’s really fun picking out all of the differences in words from the US version to the UK version. My favorite so far is “Shan’t”
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens This one isn’t on my list, at least I don’t think it is, but I just felt like reading something a bit heavier. I started reading A Tale of Two Cities while in Europe and I really liked it, and Great Expectations seems to be a lot easier to follow than A Tale of Two Cities, so I’m really liking it right now!
