Practice is so vital…I practiced like a maniac doing my first 3 tricks…two card tricks I really liked, and my crowning achievment is pulling a coin from thin air. Blew people’s socks off!
Then I got too excited…I started showing off without practice. Not good…People could see how I was doing it. They were sad…they wanted to be amazed. From now on, practice first! Or practise. Never did learn which one of those is right.
what a nice thing it is…kissing. Now that i’ve done it (it’s been too long!), i want to do it again!
...well, i suppose this might be considered a vacation. I got a “last-minute” five days off work – the most I’ve had in two years. Didn’t DO much except fix my car and mow the lawn, and go see an air show and go out for dinner…and get back in touch with an old friend out of town, and play some music and watch a great movie (adaptation) again. And play in a poker tourney. Hey…actually it’s been pretty good! And I still have tonight!
