I’d recommend going with friends who are just as passionate about the band and getting there early, especially if you are short. Buy a T-shirt while you’re there!

Can’t do this now that Mark Linkous is dead. In a way I’m glad I never did. I always turned down concerts when he was touring in my area because sparklehorse is my solace. I didn’t want to be listening to music that brings me so much happiness and comfort surrounded by people who could ruin it permanently for me. To replace this, 2 things, 1 is send a letter or find some way to communicate with an artist how much I appreciate their music while I still can, and 2) visit linkous’ place of rest.
