We want to do this ourselves to save money. 75% of our house in knob & tube and in decent shape, but we want to add more insulation to our attic and upgrading our wiring will only help us whenever we sell.

How I did it: In February 2009, I signed up to run the Seattle Rock n' Roll Marathon. I knew I couldn't (more like wouldn't) train on my own, so I joined up with Joints in Motion, organized by the Arthritis Foundation. If you really want to take more photos keep your camera with you at all times and document away! It was easier with my last camera which was the size of a deck of cards. My new camera seems so bulky but it takes great pics. Read how I did it…

Thanks to my parents I now have the piano I grew up practicing and playing on. I don’t play as often as I’d like, but I play it much more often than I did my keyboard. I have a couple of new old songs that I’m learning. Love it!
