Studying in an Asian school half of my life, I cannot believe how little they help you become a public speaker. You’re not allowed to talk to the teacher unless the teacher calls you out. I remember no presentations or classes to help me out with this. I might be blaming my education for my poor speech skills, but it really does scare me.
Books on self improvements don’t really help either. =(
It weird that somone would get inspired by movies and books to work in a mental hospital. I don’t think they present the most accurate view of what it’s like to work there. But I want the help, so I guess that’s the most important thing.
I’m not exactly the most organized person.. and the thought of being the person in charge (for a change) really freaks me out.
But I wanna do this. I want to share what I love to do.
