I am not, nor have I ever been, a gamer.. But I have always wanted to complete the Zelda Series.
So about a week ago I pulled out ye old Nintendo and started at the original Ledgend Of Zelda.. Only to have that ancient grey box eat my saved game after a couple days worth of playing. This makes for an angry Jeffy.
I have an Emulator, like a good little pirate, but I really love the feel of the original Nintendo controllers.. Or more so hate the side winder cheep-o thing I bought and I’m not willing to drop the bucks on a better pc controller.. Anyway, did a little digging and found a site that sells old school Nintendo Controllers that have been upgraded to use USB ports. A geeks wet dream. Obviously I bought one strait away.
Just got said controller in the mail and it feels just like the real thing. Hot.
Onward with the Quest!

Found another soda substitute. The Switch is 100% Carbonated Fruit Juice.
Meaning they did not add any sugar (or corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, medium invert), artificial flavors, artificial colors, preservatives, or any other mystery ingredients.
A good healthy alternative for those who love that carbonation tickle.

I’m by far a novice to this whole eating healthy bit.. I am a “Clean Slate” if you will. So this endeavor has felt like an adventure from day one.. Day one being today.
I started my quest at Outpost Natural Foods. This is there newest outlet facilitating the southern parts of the Milwaukee Area. They are well stocked with yummy goodness and are ready and willing to share all there expertise and helpful recipe tips.
And not only can you feel good about eating healthy but you can feel good about helping your local community, as this is a locally owned Co-Op.
Picked up some of the goods I needed to complete my first Sticks and Berries meal, as my father so lovingly calls it. The meal consisted of Falafel Balls and tucked in Pita Bread with Fresh Cucumbers and toped with Tzatziki, Rice Pilaf, and fresh Asparagus in light butter.
Over all I would say this was a step in the right direction. As for the ethical and socially concise aspects of this dramatic move.. We’ll touch on that another time.
