I’ve recently submitted my first piece of fiction to a magazine and even if I don’t get anything from it, I’ve broken the ice. I can do this more often for sure. Now I just have to keep writing! (AND EDITING.)
That’s the first step! I’m also looking at volunteer positions that are things I like too, because sometimes volunteering can lead to a job. I’ve been out of school for almost two months and this is the first day I’ve really looked for something. I hope that the stuff that is keeping me from being productive wraps up soon so I can move on with my life.
