I’ve been working on this most of my life. I was under a lot of pressure as a kid.

One thing that seems to work for me is mindfulness meditation, but it’s sometimes hard to remember that this tool exists.

I’m not a “people person” and I’m kind of sensitive, but if I just stay in the house all day, I get in a really crappy mood! Volunteering has helped, so I’m thinking of signing up for more things that will get me out of the house (worthwhile reasons, not just shopping!)

A good start might be walking outside, or finding a place to hike – I love nature.
