I’ve noticed a dramatic change in my life since I stopped watching TV. I’ve even seen my grades (which were pretty good to begin with) increase greatly over the past few months. (I’m passing Shakespeare with an A, which SHOCKS me!) I’ve even gotten accepted into the Collegiate National Honor Society and Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities since this has happened… Maybe it’s a sign. :)

Being an undergrad in an education field doesn’t fully prepare you at all for what you will encounter in the classroom. It will be trying at times, but there are days when you go home and think to yourself, I really helped someone today. What I refer to as “perma-grin” sets in. A sense of euphoria. It’s wonderful.
