in terms of my last entry, let me restate my miley cyrus theory. i just want to say that i totally respect her…she’s very talented and amazing at what she does. however, what i meant was that i just want to go in a different direction. anyway. this is going to be a tough school year (junior year…oh no!) i have to focus on sat work, school, and adding acting lessons and hopefully more theater companies into my schedule. it will be totally worth it, i just don’t have anyone who believes in me. my mom doesn’t really support me, and she’s the most important person in my life. my friends think it’s a joke. everyone just thinks i’m going to have to get it out of my system and then move on and work in a cubicle somewhere. i don’t want to do anything else. i can’t get acting out of my system when it’s the one thing that makes my system run. what are you supposed to do when you know you were born to do something, but everyone else thinks your crazy?

How I did it: My gym offers Pilates classes once or twicce a week, but I was always too scared to go and embarrass myself in front of other people. Finally, I just decided to go ahead and try it anyway. It's so relaxing and it feels great! You really get a nice work out without heavy weights or hurting yourself. Definitely go to a class though, because I wouldn't be doing a lot of the moves right if I hadn't had someone telling me how to correct myself… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've been applying for tons of part time jobs all over my town for a few months, and some of them would call back, interview, and then never get in touch again. The first place I applied to had never called me back, and then two weeks ago I finally received a call...they had kept my application on file and wanted an interview. So I went in, interviewed, and was offered a job at the end of the day! Woo hoo! Read how I did it…
i trained to become an ESL tutor at the public library yesterday! i’m very nervous to meet my student next week, but so excited to help her with english! this should be great!
well, you know, i’m sixteen, and i probably sound like every other person who says they want to be an actress. however, i don’t admire miley cyrus (shocker) or anyone else who uses a show like hannah montana as a claim to fame. i never feel like i fit in anywhere except on stage. i feel like when i act, i sort of feel this indescribable magnet of feelings from the audience. there’s just that moment when you’re on stage and you realize you’re controlling emotions and thoughts and it’s so amazing. i don’t think i’m an amazing actress and i always want to learn more, but i think this could work as more of a strength. i’ve discussed the whole situation with my mom (who’s always known i would choose this as a career path) and she said that within a year we could go to new york city and meet with some talent agents. i’m not scared to invest my time into this career, because i really believe it will pay off in the end. i’m not looking for some disney channel, mtv fame…if that’s what most girls my age are looking for, i wish them look. hopefully i will be fortunate enough to be in some serious, thought provoking films and stage productions. hmm. if you’ve read this all, thank you very much! haha
