A “国画” class (i.e. chinese brush pen painting), in which I can barely understand anything the teacher says. Yesterday the only thing I really learned from two hours of class was the series of characters “勾皴擦染点” which I think is a list of different kinds of brush strokes, but even after an internet search I don’t understand what it means. But I am getting language practice and having fun painting ignorantly.

Amnesty International is blocked by the Great Firewall, so many of the things on that list are difficult or impossible for me now. I tried to “Send an email to Bush” through a couple proxies, but I can’t. But all you other people, you can.
