Doing DRAG is such an interesting thing to me. I’m interested in gender and gender as a social construction. For me this was an experiment to see if I could ‘pull-off’ being a beleivable member of the male sex. As a womens studies major I found it very interesting to examine the social role I was expected to play when in DRAG. For me picking up the manerisms was the most difficult. I recomend really watching persons of the sex you are attempting to perform, it really helps in getting down the walk and the movement!
