I did a private swap with a young lady from Germany {Meike} She wanted some earrings and a bracelet {seen them on flickr} so in return I asked for foliage from Germany.

I just love the flowers she sent me, I cried they were so pretty. This is a page out of my “Mood Journal”.

It’s gotten a bit cooler here, but it just reminds me of summers in Michigan, sigh.

I can tell it’s fall here by the migration of the butterflies. There are thousands of them. You can’t drive anywhere without killing a billion. Don’t think I jest at using the words thousands and billion I wouldn’t even be remiss to use KAZILLION.

Just walking to your car is like walking through a butterfly paradise.

I also know it’s fall because the brown heart leaves fall from the tree. I also know by the amazing colors of the field of grasses. Now that is just a beautiful sight. When the sun shines on the grass fields with the different color and shaped seed heads, it’s amazingly beautiful.

So these are the ways I know it’s fall, not my traditional way of knowing ie: colored leaves blowing from the massive trees.

Since I have no color here in texas I had to bring fall to my fairy trees. These ATC I made for my sisters. I have some other tweaking to do to them then they will go to my sisters as ornaments for their tree.

I really like making book marks. I like giving them away, I don’t know if the people ever use them, but I sure do enjoy making them.

I’ve made them from dried flowers and those turned out really pretty. I’ve used the the wire things I found and made a ton of them. I only scanned the ones with beads.

I’ve used lots of pretty yarn and things like that too. I recently found out that Uncle hates book marks, he thinks they are silly and not worth a darn, for the full story please go and read this

I am taking great delight in the torment that I am to bring to this man. Sigh… it feels so wonderful. I have a tendency to leave book marks in books for the next reader to have a page keeper.

I even have sewn ribbon or chain into a book cause they are not only cool, but I think even books need to have their jewelry.
