How I did it: Budget, budget, budget. I made a spread sheet and included monthly savings in the final total. I made setting aside money something that I HAD to do and not something I only did if I felt like it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: 1. Blank greeting cards from work (Hobby Lobby)2. Super cute stamps (www.house-mouse.com)3. Colored pencils (my expensive Prismacolors)4. Glitter glue Read how I did it…
I’ve been making a scrapbook of my trip to Puerto Vallarta. Looks pretty good so far. :)
I finally opened my savings account today. I had one before I moved to Denver, but drained it when we moved and never opened up a new one. I stuck the minimum $100 in there for now, but the boy and I are getting serious about sticking money in our respective savings accounts, so I hope to get it a lot higher soon.
(Sadly, the boy’s savings account is priority since his work does not take taxes out of his checks, so we need money in his account come tax time!)
