A great big collection
Of literature bliss.

Yea, I’ve got alot of books. And I haunt Borders, B&N and independent book stores like a poltergeist. I’m a culture vulture, but prefer my carcasses smell like ink and paper, and make dying noises akin to musical notes.

Maybe making a list will help in progressing through the mire of plots.

spend 24 hours listening to music and staring at the sky
Have music, will gladly take more 3 years ago

600+ cds, and about 3.5 days worth of even more music on iTunes. I have far more than enough to take 24 hours and listen to music, and do nothing but listen to music.

Is there a support group for music-holics?

Hi, my name is Kara, and I’m music-holic. I like soundtracks and string music best. I have to have it all hours of the day, and night. When I’m awake, asleep, studying, driving, writing, painting, photographing. I’m addicted.

I don’t need saving. I just need to save my money.

write a book
Define the Field 3 years ago

Maybe the first step in writing a book is defining the subject of the book.

Fiction? Non-fiction? Biography?

Never, ever self help. See the great rant to understand my hatred of self-help glop. Why does Oliver’s “please, sir, I’d like some more” come to mind?

Sweet jesus, if I wrote a children’s book, it’d be even less appropriate than Oyster Boy. Although, I think children who like Tim Burton are wonderful little imps. I just know my “children’s” book would be less than popular, at least with the target audience.

I could always publish my journals. I highly doubt those would be as popular as Anne Frank’s memoirs of an attic somewhere in Germany.

I’ll figure the subject out. And sex sells well enough…could try that…
