Onychophagia is the medical term for fingernail biting. (That’s what I discovered with my google research.) So, I decided to do a painting about this disgusting habit. My research and painting paid of for some time, but now I still catch myself putting my fingers in my mouth. Yuck!

I have begun reading the Celebration of Discipline by Richard J. Foster for the second time. The first time I started this book, I didn’t finish. My excuses for not finishing tend to relate to too many transitions, but I think it’s merely because I am not disciplined enough. I especially need to become more disciplined with my time management. We shall see if I can improve in this area of my life anytime soon.
