Well, I replaced my broken crown, pulled my wisdom teeth, got 2 new fillings and a deep cleaning ($2000) and have been pretty good about brushing, flossing, rinsing several times a day.

I am supposed to replace my lower old silver fillings which I have apparently ground down . It is going to be either 900 or 1800 , both amounts are high for me, esp the month after Christmas and considering I am in real estate which has been hard lately…but I want to not be so self conscious about my smile. My wisdom teeth made my front teeth which were always straight slightly crooked so I could also spend some dough straighenting them…not to mention I am a coffee and tea drinker and need to whiten them. But it is so important to make a good impression and your teeth are one of the first things people notice. Well, I don’t have to decide right now.

I am cooking 3-6 nights a week, sometimes just throw together standard recipes and sometimes from a cookbook or magazine recipe and usually from a meal planner. I am quite organized with my meals now and my family gets salmon once a week, tofu once a week, two vegetables per dinner, homemade soup in the fridge at all times, a homemade baked good every week, if it is a crazy night then in advance there is a casserole or crock pot going – no fast food!!! We do leftovers or cold trays a few nights by choice. We eat out with friends or family one night a week, by choice.

Well I had several TIAs and meningitis last year and continue to have seizures that result in annoying vertigo which make bikes out of the questions, not to mention driving…I am going to have to put a triathlon on the back burner for a year but keep training with the runs and walks and swims
