Went along to the gig in December and dragged Will along. They were great! In answer to my previous question, Neko did attend, but Dan Behar was absent. Enquiries have made no headway as to why. But they played a tight set, with loads of tracks of the Electric Version (my favourite). This wasn’t really a goal which required anything other than patience, luck and money to achieve, but I feel a sense of accomplishment nonetheless.
despite the next two weeks being fully booked at all centres, and my subsequent exams, i have managed to make an appointment for the end of november.
i was hesitant to give blood for a while – i had been low on various vital nutrients (eg b12) at times, and although this is not stated generally as an ‘excuse’ not to give, i didn’t think it was a wise risk to take. however, my general good health and belligerent partner have persuaded me otherwise, and i guess i’ll see how i feel this time!
