I’ve done it, but I almost wished I hadn’t! I can’t wait for the next one though – I’m an addict who can’t be stopped. Thank goodness my husband finally finished it and I could talk to him about it – it was killing me not to tell him!

I’ve found that with a screaching happy 7 month old it’s near impossible to watch tv and isn’t worth the effort
just can’t stay consistent, but it’s (usually) a fun goal to work at!
Not 50, but I’m down considerably since my last entry. I’ve plateaued again and my runnings come to a screaching halt, so we’ll get it back on track. This weight is just not acceptable to me.
I still don’t know if I’m great, but I’m happy and she’s happy. I figure that’s a start.
I’ve got another mom friend who, her and her husband used to climb too, pre-baby. So the 4 of us are going to get together, 2 will watch babies while the other 2 climb and belay. It’s a plan, now just to coordinate a time when we can all go
and try all sorts of new things, but I don’t know when you become awesome.
I’m trying to do baby sign language w/ my 7 month old, so I’m learning some signs . . . eat . . . more and all done, is all I do so far
I’ve hired a Personal Trainer and she, my husband and I are all going to do the Body for Life Challenge. It’s the only diet that works for me and I can stick too.
This is my first time updating my entries in probably over a month. I am, however, addicted to email – it’s my connection to the outside world and I just can’t say no!
I can’t do this, I try, I make bets with people (I’m very competitive and usually this works), I have water glasses all over my house and yet I just don’t do it. I need to figure out the trick . . .
Well, I haven’t written an entry in a really long time. But I was doing really well. I got up to running a 5K distance and I’m signed up to run the Race for the Cure on October 3rd … but, I’ve been having some knee & back pain. I went to the doc this week and I’m having the same problem, I had almost exactly 2 years ago which led to me having knee surgery. The quad muscles in my left leg don’t fire so in order to run, I apparently am using the large muscle that connects from your mid-back, runs around your hip and attachs to the top front of your leg. So to lift my leg, I’m using my back. The docs were pretty impressed that I was able to run for as long as I did, but for now I’m walking and doing physical therapy. They are very sports oriented and focused on getting me running again. I haven’t totally written of the Race for the Cure as of yet. In the meantime, I’m working hard at walking -boring! and quad strenghing exercises.
My dad – who definitely has never grown up – always told me “If you can make it to 35 without growning up – you don’t have to”. I’m almost there!!!!
running this morning. That’s the problem I’m having with this drinking more water. My bladder just doesn’t want to hold on. I go right before running and right after but can barely make it and this morning I almost didn’t – had to find a bathroom PRONTO in the middle of my run. Joys of childbirth! But it’s good for me and I’m going to keep going . . . and do some more Kegels :)
Still doing all my training runs. Wednesday’s was great -even though I had to get up at 4:30 in the morning to make sure I got it in. Today’s was terrrible though . . . Totally had to find a bathroom half way through or I though I’d wet my pants THEN I talk myself in to finishing my last 8 minute run interval rather than just going home and I get a monster side-stich and can barely walk. Ugh! Oh, well . . . Saturday and Monday’s training runs will be better . . . I’ll be on vacation in Newport Beach Sunny California and running along the Pacific Ocean. On the hard wet packed sand not that hellish soft stuff AND if I have to go to the bathroom again all I have to do is run out into the ocean . . . right???
Great author – Just released today and I had to go buy it before leaving on vacation.
I got so close to actually getting the property – great old house, but they paid the taxes right at the then end for all the previous years – so I made some money, but I got to I was really hoping to get the house.
I’ve got it set to be delivered to my house from Amazon as soon as it’s released. I did this with the last book and I was like a kid at Christmas waiting for the Mailman to show up – it was great!!!!
who knows what happened. Monday is my “official” weigh-in day and I’ve haven’t changed one bit. But I had checked on Sunday (bad and against my personal rules) and I was down 2 lbs. This morning – back to my same ol’ same ol. UGH!!! Frustrating.
