i finally went to a group meditation evening a couple nights ago. i have always meditated alone. being rather shy & self-conscious, being silent in the presence of strangers was a challenge. i really enjoyed it nonetheless. it was an introduction so there was some instruction on the basics of breath focus meditation.
i felt such a surge of tension & nervous energy as i sat still.
meditation in movement is much easier for me but i welcome this callenge. i will go back, perhaps make it a weekly thing.

i don’t want any debt at all (who does?), but my priority is to pay back family members who helped me during school. the provincial school loan debt is much bigger but it has to wait until the personal debts are paid. it will feel great to see the numbers decrease!
change wording

i think i have to change this goal. to remind myself that i have “to heal” as a goal, unattained, may be keeping me in victim mode.
I am thinking about a way to put a positive spin on this, to welcome true health into my life and to let go of past hurts & regrets.
i’m going to reflect on this today & hopefully have a better way to express this by tonight!
