I love books. The way the look all stacked on my shelves and scattered on the end tables. The way they smell, the way they feel. It’s ridiculous, really. So I keep buying them…and they keep piling up, and I need to stop! Someday, when I own my own home, I will have an entire room devoted to books…a library, I guess. And I will spend late nights and early mornings there. Yes. And in the meantime, I’ll stop buying books (no I won’t) and devour the ones already in my posession. And my thoughts will be much deeper and wider, and my heart much larger.

So I’m graduating in May and want to get into my top choice for grad schools in Sociology. Problem #1…I don’t even know what my top choices are yet! Any suggestions? I may be ready to leave the midwest…
In the meantime, I’m going to apply for a year of AmeriCorp or some sort of meaningful social justice kind of work. And the searching continues…
