I went and don’t really recommend it. The Irish are good at selling the country, but it didnt live up to it i didn’t think… bit of a disappointment for me. Some nice scenery, but sometimes we wanted a night out but didn’t think the nightlife was that great. Just like any other place you could visit, i guess i was just looking for something special.
I spent the summer travelling in the uk and ireland. My fave place ever was scotland, i loved it! They have such beautiful scenery, especially in the highlands, and great culture. You won’t find friendlier people. Oh and they like a good drink! I thought Ireland was supposed to like their drink, but i can honestly say after having been to both Scotland and Ireland, the Scots are by far the biggest drinkers! I struggled to keep up! Buy yourself a guide book, see where you wanna go, then go for it. I recommend the Isle of Sky. Beautiful. If you get lost or need a bit ofhelp ask a local, they’re very friendly and always willing to help if they can. If you’re thinking of going anywhere in Europe, try Scotland. You won’t regret it!
