How I did it: Over the summer, my grandmother was in the hospital for 6 weeks. It was very scary because there was this voice in the back of my head that said it could be the last time I ever see her. Once she was out of the hospital, I vowed to see her on a weekly basis. I tried my best but work and school took more time out of my week than I had expected. My job decided to stop our overtime and since I wasn't at work as long, … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started by cutting down on caffeine at night. I didn't realize how much soda made an impact on my sleepiness until I stopped drinking it after 5 pm. I started using my cell phone as my alarm clock as well. This can prove to be useful if the power goes out in the night. I have 5 different times I can set my alarm and I set them in 15 minute increments. It took a couple of months but I am now getting up a goo… Read how I did it…
I just completed my first week of nursing school and I already love it. It’s a bit overwhelming but I am so glad to be there. I honestly thought this day would never come and am happy I decided to stick with it :)
