Today I went on a 40 mile ride and it was hard. But definitely worth it. I went with three experienced guys and they were very supportive. I’d only done 20 miles before, so this was exciting! I can’t wait to do a century!

So I had a little to drink last night and as I was leaving a blues bar I just took the opportunity to get a good handful of this guy I thought was attractive. I didn’t look back, but I heard him say thank you. It was totally fun, and I will do it again.
It’s on! I’m going out tonight, so perhaps this will be the night it gets done!
I became vegetarian my freshman year of high school basically on a whim. Soon after, I began losing weight and eventually lost 40 lbs. I read many things about the benefits of vegetarianism, both personal and worldwide. I am so glad that I have kept this diet. I hope to be vegetarian for more than half of my life.
I learned Norwegian, which is relatively obscure (it’s not Spanish or French) and I have met so many interesting people because of it! Once, I was sitting at a coffee shop and talking to a friend and they made a remark about me being Norwegian. Then, someone a few tables down from me heard and proceeded to talk to me in Norwegian! It was really cool. People are much more impressed when you know a less common language.
I’ve started this goal this year by cooking zucchini stuffed with couscous, raisins, currants, and carrots and a side dish of sauteed cherry tomatoes. It was a success! All my friends enjoyed it and it was very healthy.
Although you may regret spending so many hours in front of the television, this is (in my opinion) the best show ever made. I love it and used to look forward to every day I would watch a few episodes.
I’ve been skinny-dipping twice in my lifetime. Once in Austin, once in the Mediterranean Sea. It was fabulous. I recommend two things: go somewhere really interesting and go with friends! It’s a blast!
Oh my goodness. When I went to Egypt this past summer, I fell in love with Cairo. It is definitely one of my favorite places in the world. I do not recommend eating any raw fruits or vegetables unless you wash and peel them yourself, though. I had a quite unpleasant food poisoning experience. Do climb a minaret, visit the Ibn Touloun Mosque, go to the Khan al Khalili, try all the different food, stay on Zamalek, and do all the touristy things to do.
I have been interested in getting a tattoo for about a year now, but want to wait until I am completely sure. At first, I thought I wanted a phrase written on my hip, but today, as I was reading a magazine, I saw the tattoo I wanted (pictured above).
