Some learning experiences hurt. While my marriage was short-lived, I am still a believer in finding a life partner and making the commitment. It is not just some ceremony; being married is about learning how to exist with and for someone else. It requires you to reach inside yourself and offer your best, be a little less selfish, a little more understanding, and a whole lot more open to acceptance, compromise, and change.

If the goal is great enough...
There’s a saying that goes something like, “If you know the WHY, you can overcome any HOW.” What does that have to do with saving money? What is it YOU want to save for? Is it an early retirement filled with days of endless relaxation? Is it the purchase of your dream house, or the sexy sports car you’ve been eyeing for months? For me, it was the goal of saving to fulfill my most extravagant dream – of traveling around the world, wafting my way through country after country, and basking in the culture and charm that each destination bestows. Find your WHY. And you’ll find the motivation to make the changes that need to be made.
