take a vacation on my own
Time on my own is awesome. 4 years ago

Now, this wasn’t the kind of vacation that was huge or elaborate or anything, but it was definitely what I needed. I checked into the Fairmont Royal York for two nights. I felt like a princess! I spent a lot of time in my room, sleeping, reading, or knitting, and I also ventured for food in union station. Some friends stayed with me, because they were going to the CN SciFi/Comic Book/Horror/Anime/Gaming Expo, and we had a blast goofing off together in the room.

This is definitely something I need to do more often, even if I just stop answering my phone and pretend my apartment is a hotel.

So worth doing! 4 years ago

When friends found out I was doing the 50 book challenge, they started recommending me books, and I got to read a lot of books that I wouldn’t have read otherwise.

Next year, I would like to set my goal to 100 books.
