When I was running every Tuesday and Thursday before work, I was up and out the door by 5:45. It was nice to get back to the house at 6:15 or so and have a little over an hour to eat breakfast, shower, and get ready. Having time to take things slow rather than rushing around is so nice. And, I found that I was less tired later in the day once I got used to being up early in the morning (besides the fact that I was getting all that exercise/endorphins).
Since I’ve stopped running, it’s a lot harder to pull myself out of bed in the mornings, even with The Boy leaving the house early for work. Part of the problem is that I don’t have to catch the train until 8 now, rather than 7:30, so instead of taking advantage of that extra half hour, I snooze…It seems like it gets easier as the sun comes up earlier in the morning, so we’ll see if I can get the hang of it again.

I’m so catty it’s unreal. I am a nasty person underneath it all. Which is okay. Seriously. I rather enjoy it. I’m a fun catty, particularly in groups. I have an amazing inner bitch. I need to find a way, though, to channel the inner bitch into something constructive. Writing a gossip column? Blogging? Who knows?
