I am presently reading The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. It is excellent. It is all about overcoming procrastination or “Resistance” (to use his term) and get to the pad and draw (or write, or paint, or whatever). He really teaches the right attitude for getting it done, for making your art a priority in your life and keeping it there. Amazing book.

I think I found a dentist. I haven’t called or made an appointment, but she is close to my house and a Google search brought up a glowing review of her on someone’s blog.

This is a great 2 semester course. One on the history of non-violence, and one on non-violence in the present day. Very interesting, very moving. It as a joy to listen to.
