How I did it: I never had a desire to learn. My car died and the one I was purchasing/being given was a stick so I HAD to learn. I asked a friend to give me lessons. The first time he took me out I couldn't even START the car. After about 5 minutes I tried to get out of the car because I was jerking SO much. He just laughed and wouldn't let me give up.I finally made it into first gear and then into second. I practiced in a parking lot for about an hour… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I didn't mean to buy a newer car when I did, I had no choice.I was in an interesting situation where basically the car was given to me. Mine died and my best friend is unable to drive hers so her mother sold it to me. My best friend hasn't had a driver's license since 2006 and isn't eligible for one until Sept 2010 due to DUIs...don't do it kids!!!So her mom sold it to me for a couple grand and basically I give her $250/month. I would sug… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I did it by having one person suggest to me that I run about 5 months ago. I started off with walk/run intervals at about 15 minutes. Over the next 5 months, sometimes I worked on my time, other times I worked on sprinting or endurance. Today I decided to go for it. I made sure to keep a .25 distance for every 2:30. If I was slightly behind I picked the speed up for about 30 seconds to a minute, if I felt like I needed a breather I slowed… Read how I did it…

March 2010 – here we come!
Born in DC, brought home across the bridge 2 days later and haven’t left yet.
I love this city, I love the VA suburbs, I love that I hate the MD side but it’s time to leave.
I will be back. I’ve always wanted to raise kids here and I WILL be back. Before I can be back though, I have to leave. This goal goes in part with earning my associates degree. Once I accomplish that, I will be able to figure out where to go for my Bachelor’s.
Fall 2010 a decision will be made.

So I took half of May – July 1 “off” and gained FIFTEEN FUCKING LBS.
I spent July at the gym but still eating like an idiot so I didn’t lose anything but I didn’t gain.
I’m down about 5lbs now…10 more to go to get back to my low weight and then I’m going to power through Sept-Dec 31 so I can be at my goal weight for Jan 2010. No need to start a new decade carrying around all this weight – pun intended.
