Two and a half years after I became a weekday vegan and cut the junk (no soft drinks of any kind, no coffee, only herbal tea, no chocolate);
Two years after I cut way back on vegtable oil and any other saturated fat;
Four months after I eliminated weekday gluten – and setlle for 4 slices of whole-wheat bread each weekend;
- I’m still far from my ideal weight;
- My cholesterol is very low – but my cardiologist says not enough to take me off my lipitor;
- My migraines are not much better, and latley I’ve had a spiral of bad atacks (partly, it would seem, due to immense work pressure and crazy hours);
- BUT I do feel much better about myself overall.
