Hope it holds!
10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.
Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.
It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.
As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

NOT quite outside in nature,
We rented a flat for the weekend on the seafront, and made love all night in front of an open window facing the ocean.
Did I say BEAUTIFULL??
I’ve become a “weekday vegan”.
I allow myself an egg white once a month (breakfast with my wife), a piece of chicken and a piece of fish each weekend.
and no more.
... out of intensive care and back in the department.
Hope things keep the right direction.
It’s going to be a loooooong haul…
... and we’re all VERY worried…
Before BRONSON, P.J., and V.J. BRENNAN and J.H. GILLIS, JJ.
J.H. GILLIS, Judge.
We thought that we would never see
A suit to compensate a tree.
A suit whose claim in tort is prest
Upon a mangled tree’s behest;
A tree whose battered trunk was prest
Against a Chevy’s crumpled crest;
A tree that faces each new day
With bark and limb in disarray;
A tree that may forever bear
A lasting need for tender care.
Flora lovers though we three,
We must uphold the court’s decree.
The quality of lovemaking – realllly good, every time.
The frequency – waaay down.
Not “nights” but rather mornings.
Once a month, breakfast before work at a coffee shop.
Once a month, less than 2 hours – and WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES!!
... WALKING IN THE RAIN TO AN IMPORTANT MEETING I WAS LATE FOR, IN THE RAIN, CRYING ALOUD ….
NOT A PRETTY SIGHT.
I’m just under toooooooo much pressure, and I’m not treating my body right (or my soul, for that matter)...
... and I don’t even have a game-plan to get back on track…
And to think I put this down as a challenge to be finished by Dec. 15!!!
... she’s simply unbearable!
Have to get through the rough period and basically start all over.

She fell apart….
The kids, her job, and – worst of all – mine …
I’ve been SO bogged crazy by the attempts of my organization to deal (somewhat, somehow) with the CRISIS, that I now have a crisis of my own…
No way I can meet this chalange – the shit-uation is only getting worse.
ON THE ONE HAND – I’m handling the projects well, and getting lots of compliments.
ON THE OTHER HAND – Inwardly I’m eating myself alive and just plain freaking out!!!
