finally finished book 7… some strange stuff in there baron charlus chained to a wall and being whipped in jupien’s “hotel”... long gaps and time in the sanetorium… the war and people grow old… and finishes with a whimper not a bang, just fades away…

at the weekend… book 7 a little different and books 5 and 6 tougher than the rest, but definitely worth it, and a great sense of achievement… maybe time to start again?
