After 3 years of looking and umming and arghing and one failed attempt to purchase, an offer has been accepted on a house that as each day passes I’m loving more and more. I’ve been in this position before on another house and the survey came back with so many faults that I had to pull out, I really don’t want this to happen with this one as it’s too perfect. So I’m crossing my fingers that luck is on my side and that the one problem I can forsee won’t appear, which is the current owners are buying a newbuild and their property won’t be ready until december, and if its still not ready by the end of january my mortgage won’t be valid and I’ll lose a lot of money.

Whether I’ve been successful in this will be put to the test tomorrow! I’m starting a new job! For the last four years I’ve worked with the same people and for the first 2 years I hardly spoke, they thought me weird :( But something happened (it might have something to do with getting drunk at the xmas party!)and I started speaking and the people weren’t that scary anymore, I enjoyed going to work and they in the end they couldn’t shut me up!
The new job came around quickly, so there hasn’t been time to think about it but I’m going to miss my team, I feel comfortable with them, they are like extended family. I just hope I can feel as comfortable with this new team as I do now so that I can be myself. I know that I wouldn’t have tried for this job 2 years ago because of a lack of confidence and being just too scared, I just hope its me thats changed and its not the people around me that make the difference.
