i had been working on this, everyday, and making progress. I felt like I just had to break some physical/musculal barrier and I’d be good to go. And then stuff happened. I actually have other goals that conflict with this one. Like when I workout and my muscles are so sore that basic movement/stretches hurt, let alone trying to do the splits. And then there was the domestic pest (scorpion) issue that had me afraid to touch the floor for a week. I still think it’s possible. I just know that it’s gonna take time. I’d also like to know what I was thinking when I made this goal (musta been bored), cuz I don’t know how it really benefits me at all in life, but I’ll listen to my past-self and push on.

7 weeks have gone by and i still haven’t got a scale. Probably because I know I’m not ready to accept whatever it tells me. And I think the only scales around here are in kilos, so that won’t help me much unless I make “gram” goals. Anyway, I just don’t have the appetite for this goal. I’ve been expanding my current diet, and eating more regularly, and trying to be more consistent ( altho last night i had a twix for dinner :o ). I’m more concerned with gaining muscle, and I’ve been doing that, so that’s great. I might join a gym just to use the squat rack, which sucks, but when I go home in 3 months, I’d like to be able to fit into the clothes that are there waiting for me. Cuz they’re fresh.
I’ve resolved to continue using a whitening toothpaste and avoiding dark liquids. If I want my teeth whiter to make a good impression, I find that rinsing with (blue) mouthwash gives a very white appearance, although I don’t know how long the effect lasts. I don’t want to compromise the health of my teeth, however when I get back to the states, I might look to see what new developments the local dental has made…
