Though a touch trite, “Those that matter don’t mind. And those that mind don’t matter.”
This task shouldn’t be that hard as the last two 10K races I ran were at around 52 minutes; though two minutes is a lot of time to shave off. However, my cigarette intake has dropped 99.9% since my last race, so it’s not really that out of reach.
I haven’t bought a pack of cigarettes since January 2008, though I’ve probably smoked about a pack’s worth over the course of the past three months. I’m fine with going without cigarettes during the week, but once I’m out on the weekend with someone that smokes, I revert back to my cravings. So what? Don’t go out? I guess so.
