I’m up to 79.3 kilos tonight, I’ve been doing some training lately, running, squash, weight lifting, etc. and I’ve done it!!! Yay!!!!

Exercise and rejection

Wow, it’s 22 months ago since I worked with this…I’m surprised its been so long, where did all the time go and what did I do and achieve with it…

Well, I could have marked this goal complete I suppose, because I’ve been up to the 78 kilos I wanted, now I’m a little bit under, 77.5 or something like that, but I prefer to keep it here, then I can use it to write a little about my new goal.

I just got dumped by a girl I liked, we were together for a little bit less than two months…one of the reasons, from my perspective the main reason, was that I was not able to function sexually with her, which is just really sad, I think I do not deserve to lose someone I like over something like that, but looking at it positively, it is good that I had an experience that made me ready to get some help on that issue and try to work it out as good as possible.

Anyway, this experience, apart from making me sad and angry, hurt my confidence and my self esteem on a general level, maybe that is why I have felt an urge to start training again, to feel better about myself. It’s strange since I think the shape of my body should be the last of my worries, but it is something that is simple to address, much simpler than personality issues. I think it is ok that I go along with this urge, since I’m also seeing a specialist about the main problem. I’m feeling so impatient and nervous about it, there are other things I would like to work with as well, but I will focus on one thing at a time on the mental side.

Ok, so in terms of exercise, the goal I’ve set is to run a 5 km on less than 20 minutes before my health check at work, which is on the 19th of March, which gives me something like five weeks. If it’s realistic I don’t know, we will see how it goes. The training method will mainly be a combination of boxing training, running, and squash and I’ve made a training plan. In terms of weight I suppose it will not have any great effect, but I hope it can make me look more fit and improve my posture.
