Well it started this morning and so far it’s going good. I have a few last minute doubts but I plan on pushing through them.

How I did it: There was about a week of private study followed by 3 days of classroom and practical study. I think this is a good thing to learn this summer or whenever you have a long weekend. When you go under you becoming a part of an exciting new world stimulates your senses. It's a good stress reliever. It's also a good way to meet new people. Read how I did it…
Living in the Bahamas I figure I owe it to myself. I called the local dive shop yesterday to get some details and see how I can work it around my schedule. For me it should take two weekends.
I have never done it using the couchsurfing website. I have a couple of friends in Iowa and Illinois that I sometimes visit and crash with but I would like to see more places and this seem like a good way to do that while saving money and meeting interesting people. I found out about it from a fellow 43T member. I just created an account but I don’t know where I want to go yet.
