For me being self-sufficient means not relying on anyone else for anything, food, clothing, shelter, money etc.
If I grew or caught all the food I needed to survive, could make all the clothing I ever needed to wear and owned my own piece of land with my own built house or building to live in, and didn’t rely on anyone for anything from the outside world, then and only then could I call myself ‘self-sufficient’.
The only way I can reach this goal is to sacrifice alot of things that I now hold dear, but it will be worth it because I have had enough of relying on other people to live, people who destroy this world for nothing but control over me and my surroundings.
