I really want to find a heavy metal band that’s looking for a woman as the lead singer. (Think Nightwish, Lacuna Coil maybe Evanescence) I know they are out there but I’m just not sure if I’m good enough. I’ve always sung along to music since I was little, I did musicals in high school and I get compliments when I do karaoke but when it comes to something serious like that I’m just not sure I’ll match up. And I would take it seriously. Not just do it to do it. I love music and I would love to seriously be in band.

I’ve been in my house for 3 years and I’ve so far only completed replacing the toilet seat when it broke. Time vs money. I am in the middle of one big project that will most likely be going on for the next year. I ripped up all the old ugly tile in the kitchen and found unfinished wood floors. Now I’m ripping up the carpet in the living room. When that’s done I’m repainting both rooms and then finishing the wood floors! At least I have a current project. A few years from now I would like to add a master bedroom and another bathroom and the big one update the electric (still knob and tube) oh and replace the windows…oh and there’s more but enough of overwhelming myself. One at a time.

I love my house! I love having my own space and not worrying about the apartment next door banging on the wall cause I’m too loud (or the family on the other side that fought all the time). There are things I would do differently though. I thought I want a big back yard and I have it but now I don’t want it so big. I thought I only need 2 bedrooms but now I kinda wish I had 3 instead of converting half the basement. There’s other minor things too. Maybe I should have spent some more time looking at more houses but overall I do love where I am. The day I got the keys was one of the best days of my life!
