How I did it: 'yes' has always been one of the more difficult words for me. it was always no. i can't say i've been an opportunist all my life. from age 6 or 7, 'grilled cheese' and 'puppy' came out of me much more than a simple yes. yes is difficult. yes is unknown territory, and no is staying in one spot, safe from the hazardous yes. i have come to learn that it's much better to pull the chain, because you're going to remain in one spot by sticking t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: i was walking around the neighborhood with my boyfriend and it started pouring buckets. we stopped at a park to wait for the rain to subside, but it just kept pouring. he asked if he could pick me up, and when he did i kissed him smack on the lips. it was cute, to say the least. How I did it: First, I stopped abusing my feet. I threw out all my shoes that were too small or too uncomfortable for me and this has made all the difference. All the bumps and blisters pretty much take care of themselves after this, although it may take a while. Next, I became comfortable with my own feet. i’ve totally changed my mind on this one in terms of what i want to get. i’m going to mainstream this one and get one on my wrist. hopefully one that says ‘hallelujah’ in tribute to jeff buckley’s cover of the song. i’d love for it to read vertical instead of horizontal. it’ll probably yellow after a while, either that or hardly show up, but i’m just going to go on with it. :)
