the best time to do this is when you feel absolutely horrible, when you’re having a shitty day and nothing is going right at all. i was having one hell of a day and composing this list forced me to focus and hone in on the better things that make life worthwhile. keeping it around makes it easier to cope with daily struggles, although redoing it over and over works in a sort of meditative, relaxing-exercise way, too.
