A Chinese Proverb says “A child’s life is like a piece of paper on which every person leaves a mark”. During my almost-2-year work in UNICEF Turkey Girls’ Education Campaign, I hope I could leave a mark. I was thinking that I owe those girls who are not given their right to education as I am fortunate enough to go to school and have education. I appreciate that I had the opportunity and wish every human being be fortunate as me.

That is how magic happens in the “darkroom”

I’ve decided to start from the beginning and signed up basic photograpy course in `Photography Artists Association`. After 5 weeks of classes and 2 shooting trips, I’ve got 2 diapositive rolls and so amateur 72 photos. Not so long passed by, I rushed to the next move: 2nd course or `Dark Room`. Finally saw the place where magic happens. Now, the course is almost finishing. Had washed my own black-white roll and print my very first photos. It suprisingly filled me with joy to be able to create something which is there because of choices you’ve made. From the moment I have taken those pics till the process I have printed them, I made choices and the result was impressive. At least for me ;) Still, have many to learn and experience. All worths
