The goal here is to update my site so that people can contact me, and also create a properly-integrated blog – for those who are interested in my writings and such.

I would also like to look at making some passive income through my site (whether it be through affiliate marketing or text-ads). I would definitely NOT want to include ads that are a nuisance, or distracting to visitors – only professional and clean ones.

This always seems to creep-in every year. I beat procrastination then, when something eventful happens in my life, I give-in to it – justifying its “usefulness,” simply because I’m bored with whatever task is at hand.

As a fiery, passionate type, I usually like to get things done quickly. However, if it stretches out for too long – I get bored very easily! Over the course of my latest project, which has been an undertaking of roughly four months, I’ve learned a LOT about myself. I had been through a similar scenario before but, due to some “divine” intervention, I was made to experience it all over again. (Perhaps I didn’t learn what I was supposed to the first time!)

Although the work has been lonely (working from home), it’s forced me to keep track of my habits and shift them accordingly. I think – no, I know – I definitely wasted a lot of time during the first couple of months. Technically, I’m wasting time now, but I think writing this entry is both important and therapeutic. In 7 mins., I will finish the third scene (out of a total of three per day) that I set out to accomplish 5 days a week.

So, there you have it, my little rambling on my journey towards beating procrastination! In the words of MJ, “Just beat it.”

Last week I was notified, by Toon Boom themselves, that they would like to feature my recent animation work on their website. So, technically, this goal has already been achieved but I will wait until the project is finished, which is on November 13th, and see my work on their site, before I start jumping for joy. I’m stoked nonetheless!
