I’m back at 170.
I’m giving myself a month to lose these last 10 pounds. It seems like my body is dead-set on staying at this weight. Then again, I haven’t been doing anything productive to lose weight lately.
So here are my tweaks:
No more diet soda for me and no more juice. (Unless its in my alcoholic drank.)
- 3x week of weight training.
- Moderate to strenuous activity is required at least 1 day each weekend.
- No more “dranks” every week night.
- No more late night snacking after bedtime.
We’ll see how this fares.

On Monday I was stricken by some type of powerful virus. Whatever it was, it began the day before and left me laid out in bed without any appetite all day Monday and Tuesday.
It’s Wednesday now and I ate my first solid meal after surviving on one bowl of soup on Monday and 3 cups of fat-free yogurt on Tuesday.
Like clockwork, I dragged my tired azz to the gym and did a light workout (weights) and weighed myself. The verdict? 167.2 pounds.
I’ll take 168, which is great being that I was 3 pounds heavier before I got sick.

Okay, it’s on. Thigh War II has started and there’s no end in sight.
I’ve launched an aggressive assault on my upper leg area.
I can’t express how deeply I loathe my thighs. If I could burn 3 pounds of fat off each thigh, I’d probably have the legs I want.
Yes, I know women tend to gain in that particular part of the body, but this shit here is a genetic curse!
I’ve already had lipo on my inner thigh 2 years ago and I’m really entertaining the idea of sucking the sin out of my outer thighs too.
So, I’ll keep up the dieting, running, wave machine and leg weights.
But if I don’t see noticeable results by summertime, I’ll take surgical measures.
