After my maternal great-grandparents and grandmother passed away, there was no one left in the family that could speak Cajun French. It saddens me that this heritage is now lost our family. Cajun French was my grandmother’s native tongue; not that very long ago. I would like to revive this in our family and teach my young niece as she grows up so that the tradition may never be lost.

How I did it: One of my favorite things to do is ride around by myself with no set destination in mind - I often find new ways of getting places or discover spots I never would have found in my normal travels. These have included an old, abandoned school built in 1907, a hauntingly beautiful cemetery from the mid-1850s, to what was left of a long-gone plantation I'd been studying for many years; that's just to name a few!Personally, these are day… Read how I did it…
I would love to work for myself, preferably writing but I wouldn’t mind doing web design, either. I love to do both.
The idea of doing it all in my own home, in my pajamas with whatever I want blaring on the radio is a nice one. I don’t jive well in a work environment – too many interruptions, too many people wanting to chat and visit (when I work, I want to work). I really hope I can do this one day.
It’s what I’ve wanted to do my entire life. I’ve accomplished the goal of being published, now I just have to sit and write (and have published) an entire novel of my own writing.
It can be done, the hard part is doing it.
