This past weekend I went on a girls weekend road trip to Macinac Island, Michigan. We had a great time visiting the island. We toured The Grand Hotel, went shopping and played in the lake. We also took a lot of pictures. Macinac Island is so beautiful and I hope that I visit there again sometime! #19

How I did it: I was at a girl scout day camp as a PA(same as counselor) and in my group there was a little girl who was kind-of shy and I was trying to get her to play a game instead of sitting out so I told her that I would be her buddy and the rest of the week she was participating in games and everything and it was awesome because I knew that I was the one who got her involved. How I did it: I am a skier and I really wanted to learn to snowboard as well so when my family and I went on a ski vacation for spring break I decided it was time to take lessons. It was reallly hard at first because when you fall it hurts but it was easier than I thought it would be to actually learn you just have to get past the falling everytime and you'll do fine. People say that it really only takes 3 days to learn and that was true for me. Read how I did it…
This past weekend I was in Tennesse for a golf tournament. I play for the Augustana golf team and we were on our way back from Florida and we stopped in Tennesse to play our tournament. We played at Hermitage Golf Course and even though it was a beautiful course it was hard to enjoy it because it was so cold! I hope to travel back there one day to play it again when it is a bit warmer out.
On the way back from my family vacation to South Carolina we to a detour to North Carolina to visit Mount Airy, which is the town that Mayberry from the Andy Griffith Show was based off of. This is Andy Griffith’s birthplace. We went to the courthouse, and the fillin’ station as well as walking around town and then going to the Andy Griffith Museum. It was a lot of fun and I am very glad that we went there. # 17
