How I did it: I have had a savings account since age 12. Ever since then my goal was to reach $1,000. On May 11, 2009 I accomplished my goal. This was hard! I used to love going on shopping sprees. I can tell you this..It took hard work (literally...a couple of odd jobs here and there) and a whole lotta sacrifice and discipline. I hid my debit card for one month. That seemed to help abit. Next Spring I will start pastry/bakery certification of complication at my local community college. I would have started this fall; however, all of my needed classes are filled. I am sooo excited! This has been my dream since age 0!

I can put my hair in a pony tail (and it looks nice)!
I switched stylists last month. Only have gotten one hair by her; however, I can already tell that she knows I mean business about growing my hair out. This process is taking forever!!! Seriously…never, never again!
