I have three children and I’ve saved a few outfits from each stage/age for making their quilts. I’m not doing it just from their first year clothing, but from their clothing probably until three. I just read on another website from a lady that makes these, she charges six hundred dollars for a twin size quilt. It was beautiful, but I can make it for free! I’m not a quilter, but by God, I’m a do it myselfer for that kind of dough! She gave good insight, that to make a twin size quilt, you’ll need at least forty pieces of clean clothing, and I was hoping to make a full size! I may need to wait until the kids are five to make sure I have enough for each!
