Down By 10

I’ve been really working on this for a few weeks now, and I’m down 10 pounds. We had a celebratory dinner last night, so that’ll probably send me up by one or two – but there’s a difference between that temporary easy-to-lose kind of weight and the real weight loss. So I keep reminding myself I’m 10 pounds lighter and keep on with the battle. I’m thinking it will take a year or so.

Progress Is Limited

You know, I keep a fingernail file and Avon nail strengthener at every desk and in my purse, so no matter where I am I can work on this. My thumbnailes are a decent length, and usually my other nails are usually not down to the nub like they used to be. Guess that’s as much as I can hope for.

Strattera

I tried taking Strattera for a couple months, and my hubby hasn’t been too happy with the results. He says I’m more apt to lash out at him and I’m just not a happy person. I stopped taking it a week ago. I’m pretty darned hyper today, and I’ve lost the Spock-like feeling of complete logicality. But when my husband said, “It’s nice to have you back.” I decided maybe it’s best to go back to just Ritalin and forget trying for better.
