Well, the first payment is coming off, and though I am unemployed my 4 day’s of temping allowed me to be able to make the payment. I really want to knock as much of this thing out as I can in the next few monthes.

I finally got a temping assignment. It only lasted 4 days though, so now I am back to being unemployed yet again. This is really annoying, and I wish I could do more to remedy it. I was looking to get some applications done this week but the family showed up unexpectedly yesterday so I’ll be tied up for all of next week now. It would atleast be a good time to storm out a game plan for my next set of applications.
Additionally, if any more of my temping assignments were near as “educational”, in the sense that I learned a lot more than I thought I would, then I’ll be very content with with temping for a while. I’ve learned a lot of practical everyday business stuff that was more or less lost between the cracks in my BBA program. Also, the guys I was working for really pushed me to evaluate myself and defend why I deserve a fulltime job. Overall, it has already been great for meeting people and networking. I probably met atleast 5-6 different people in different industries while working on that 4 day assignment.
If I am still in this position in a month or two I am going to be looking very seriously into that apprenticship in SC that I was looking at a few weeks ago.
I thought this project was dead in the water, but I had a great idea this morning that brought new life to our “zombie movie”. as it were. additionally ive come up with atleast 5 other solid ideas today for films. I like my spurts of productivity and inspiration, now I just need to get to actually writing these things in a format condusive to pitching and shooting.
